2000 Registered American Saddlebred gelding. Sorrel with flaxen mane and tail, blaze and three white socks. Extraordinarily handsome. 15.3 hands. Sweet, gentle disposition and people friendly. Gentle and rides English and Western with snaffle bit, apparently never taught to wear a curb. Supposedly 5 Gaited and shown.

This horse was brought to me barefooted and very thin with three horse show ribbons. He now resides at my sister's farm in Chapel Hill, Tennessee where he has become fat, sassy and happy. Guaranteed sound. Loads and hauls well. Good home is a must for this sweet, gentle soul!

Flash is up to date on all vaccinations including West Nile and Rabies. He had his teeth floated on 11/21/14. His hooves were last trimmed on 8/05/15. His last vaccinations were Prestige V + WNV on 12/08/14, with a booster on 1/03/15. This vaccination includes Eastern/Western Encephalomyelitis, Tetanus, Rhino EHV4 & EHV1, Influenza Strains A1, A2, Prague 56, KY '92, KY '97 & KY '99 plus West Nile. His last rabies vaccination was on 3/08/15. Our vet did a complete blood work up on him on 11/21/14, and everything came back normal. He has a negative coggins report dated 1/06/15. He was last wormed with Equimax on 8/11/15. He is guaranteed sound and healthy.

Flash is easy to catch and very neat. He does all of his business in one pile that makes cleaning up after him an easy chore. He is a very good natured and sweet gelding. Flash likes to 'talk' to people. Everytime you walk up to him or past him he nickers to you softly under his breath. It is very endearing. My sister tells me that she looks forward to his 'hello' every morning.

3 Yr Old 16 Hand American Saddlebred by son of Worthy Son,
with 5' 9" Academy rider, Raymi Love, up.

This sweet tempered gelding is a prospect for a child's horse, yet is big enough for any adult rider. Perfect head set with a long dreamy neck. Getting a late start, this horse should become suitable for any division as listed below. He is currently barefooted behind and still has his first flat shod shoes on front. As shoeings and training advance, his action most assuredly will improve. He is scheduled to have his tail set after the NATIONAL ACADEMY CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS this year in Murfressboro, Tennessee.

This sporty gelding is a child's horse prospect. He has a big high stepping trot with nice hocks. Plus he has a very good head set. He has a wonderful mouth and is gentle and a good thinker. He is high strung but sensible. He has been ridden with and without a caveson (noseband) or martingale, and he is sensible, controllable and reacts favorably to all requests. He positively has the ability to be shown in open divisions; however has the mind to be a TOP Academy or child's horse and I am working him toward being a proven Academy horse. With a pretty rider this horse will be in the winner's circle at the National Finals this year!

Sire of foal: As Is Izzy, Gray Adopted Mustang

Dam of foal: Waltzing Matilda, Liver Chestnut American Saddlebred

Very, very beautiful unregistered liver chestnut Purebred American Saddlebred mare, granddaughter of ASHA leading sire,  Firelane,  sire of many World Champions!  Matilda has been broken to line drive and is the dam of Crack The Sky, Paint The Sky, The Bessie Smith Strut, and Kiss The Sky. Currently in foal to Izzy, also sire of the above named foals.  Both colts and the fillies are great looking with excellent temperaments; her 1st colt as a two year old (now 5 years old) was already performing figure eights, serpentines and canter lead changes, working within our lesson program, and being ridden & shown by our beginner/intermediate riders. I highly recommend beautiful Matilda and her good thinking, good looking, very trainable foals.  I am very fond of this mare and her easy to train babies. Guaranteed Sound!!

update! Matilda foaled a beautiful baby on May 31st, 2005...liver chestnut w/thin white blaze...named Shoot The Moon. This mare's foal has been weaned and she is now in foal again.

2 Horse Shows:

This exceptional gelding and extremely handsome gelding is from the breeding establishment of the infamous 3-T Farm in Scottsville, Kentucky, where he was initially started by the Randy Tabor, Glyndle Tabor, and Hillarey Whitaker training team. (Voted 2001 American Saddlebred Horse Breeders of the Year).

He is a very talented horse with great potential. He has not been gaited, yet he would be easy to gait and could make a top 5-gaited horse.

He has been shown at one horse show in the Academy Division by a 12 year old girl. He is much too gifted to be in Academy; however, Sarah, the 12 year old, took most of her lessons on him twice a week and desired to show him, instead of her own horse, at the National Academy Finals 2005.

His high quality, along with Sarah's beautiful riding, enabled her to bring home ribbons from only her 2nd horse show and his 1st!

This horse is game and is suitable for a strong intermediate rider, preferably a more advanced rider.

He would be very, very competitive in the ASB Pleasure (under Saddle) and Pleasure Driving Divisions, although he is talented enough to be trimmed for walk/trot and gifted enough to gait.

He has the sweetest of stall manners and is easy to care for, groom, shoe, clip and load. He is guaranteed sound and in show horse order.

Shown above with good riding Courtney Bowers, up. Thanks Courtney!

Liver Chestnut American Saddlebred mare, STONEVIEW'S MELODY, by World Champion, Sultan's Santana.  This mare is a full sister to William & Marcy Shatner's Reserve World Champion 3-Gaited mare, Santana Starbright.  She has so many blue ribbons to her name it would be impossible to mention them all on this page.  She has blue ribbon wins in Juvenile, Adult, and 10 & under Pleasure Divisions throughout Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee....from the Fall Classic in Lexington, Kentucky to the Chattanooga Charity and Alabama Charity Horse Shows.  She is well mannered enough to be shown by a beginner.  She drives as well as rides, plus she is fully equitated and performs straight line canter lead changes, as well as all other required patterns.  She has also been trained in basic dressage.  She has been successfully shown by very green adult & juvenile riders...from ages 7 and up.  She has won Championships in Juvenile & Adult ASB Pleasure, Pleasure Equitation & Medallion classes, as well as the 8 and 10 year & under Divisions.  I cannot say enough nice things about this nice mare!  Guaranteed sound and sane! Show record sent upon request.

Country Pleasure
Pleasure Driving

This gelding recently won the Championship, the Grand Championship and a Reserve Grand Championship in the 13-17 year old division at the 2001 National Academy Finals Horse Show with a beginner 13 year old rider.

This gelding has a beautiful natural headset and big front end motion.  He has a good square trot and a nice canter.

Although this gelding is a star in the Academy division, he is suitable and would be successfully shown in the Country Pleasure or 3 Gaited Pleasure riding or driving divisions. This horse can be ridden and successfully shown by beginners, intermediate and advanced riders; however, (even though he is a people horse and enjoys & likes attention, being loved on and grooming) his stall manners are a bit mischievious; therefore, he would do best with the supervision of a professional horseman or trainer.

Very gentle, sweet tempered Paint gelding. He is a great beginner horse, a real Baby Sitter. He is being used in our lesson & instructional trail riding programs. He rides great English Huntseat and Western Pleasure. He has an excellent handle on him. Neckreins the best, as well as single reins. No bad habits. This is a very kind and gentle horse.

King's young junior owner quickly progressed in her riding skill level with "King",... and fell in love with a high spirited saddlebred mare for sale here. or sent upon request)

Consigned 5 year old gelding, foaled 5/30/1997

Sire:  Lord O'Shea by Oman's Desdemona Denmark
Dam:  Cabaret Girl by Moreland Command

Beau is a very nice tempered American Saddlebred gelding.   He is smooth to ride, yet has a lot of action/motion in front.  He would be suitable for the 3 gaited ASB English pleasure, Country Pleasure or Academy divisions.  He would also be a good prospect for the Pleasure Equitation and Medallion divisions.  Call or e-mail for more information on any of our horses.

Huge Sorrel & White Paint ~ only 8 months old in photo, now a 16.2 hand 2 year old ~ this long-legged stud colt is a great mover, has lots of size with lots of grace. Moves softly with a great trot, canter, temperament & attitude. Excellent Dressage/Hunter/Jumper/Event horse prospect or even trail horse. Guaranteed Sound! Now broke to ride and doing great! He is a PAINT, HANOVARIAN & BELGIAN cross, and he is now well broke, gentle, safe and ready to put the training finish on him. He thinks GREAT and moves GREAT. 16 1/2 hands now and a coming 2 year old this year in 2004! He is huge, stout, strong and developed enough for any size rider.

"Boomer" is as gorgeous a bay color as I have ever seen! Neck reins (or single reins) with a great soft lope/canter. Good jog or trot. Rides English or Western. This big gentle giant has been mountain and trail ridden by a professional horseman for a year, thereby, he is well broke and trained, and is a wonderful trail horse who can carry a big or small load with an easy ride.

Palomino American Saddlebred 8 year old gelding. Gentle with a sweet temperament for handling. Loves to be petted!! My riding students request and love him! Beautiful dappled palomino with a long pretty white mane and white tail. Suitable for showing in the Academy Division, Pleasure and /or other than AHSA shows, as well as usable as a Lesson, Pleasure, & Trail Horse. Truly begrudge selling him, but I have way too many horses and he is more marketable with his good looks and usefulness. Please call for more detailed information...423-710-5747.

Pleasure Pony Division
Academy Division

13 yr Bay mare by the famed leading American Saddlebred sire of his day, Fire Lane, and out of a Blythewood American Hackney pony mare. She moves and looks like a miniature World Champion "WGC Naranda". This pony has won more Pleasure Pony classes than I can count. She can set her head and use her legs with the best of them! She is gentle, with a big high motioned trot and a nice slow canter. Takes both her leads with ease and is gentle enough to drop down a notch for a beginner and for lessons. But when you ask her, she can carry her head and use her legs. If she was a horse, instead of a pony, she could win a class at Louisville's World Championship. If I had a child of my own, this is the pony I would keep. A trainer's kid's first pony and dream come true! I love this pony and cannot say enough good things about her!

Peavine Creek 'sold' sign (17,822 bytes)

Congratulatons to new owners, Mr and Mrs John Tessman, of Lookout Mountain, Georgia for their beautiful Granddaughter, Mary Lillian Tessman. Miranda will remain stabled at Peavine Creek Farm.

A Bit of Nostalgia:  Mary Lillian and Miranda are very special to me. I have had this pony in training here four times previously. We keep buying her back when little rider's outgrow her. It really means a lot to me to have Miranda back, and Mary Lillian is extra special to me because her grandmother, GranJer, was the former Jerry Stone, Miss Chattanooga 1960. Her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Harold Stone, had horses in training at my Dad's Red Acres Stables in the 60's including the 5 gaited American Saddlebred, King Of Denmark, and the harness pony, Famous Southland. I have horse show photos of Jerry showing my Fine Harness horse, Coe's Black Magic, by the famous leading sire of his time, Blythewood Farms's King Coe.

2001 Saddlebred/Belgian Cross - 15.3 hands & still growing ~ A big boned, beautiful, very versatile light chestnut 3 year old mare with 4 white socks, a blaze, and a flaxen blond mane & tail. An ideal cross with an excellent American Saddlebred head set, round body type, long legs, loads easily, rides well, gentle to handle. This is a very special mare. She will be hard to part with. Her sire is ASB Reggie's American Legend, popular sire of World Champions & the son of well known Saddlebred stallion, Roseridge Heir, standing at Glendal & Randy Tabor's 3-T Farm in Scottsville, KY. I cannot say enough good things about the temperament, as well as quality, of this ASB bloodline. Her dam is a working Belgian with a gentle temperament and good nature. This is a super special irresistible mare. "Meet Virginia" is well broken to ride.

In her initial training, she was trail ridden in a smooth snaffle with no caveson or martingale, on & up the mountain for over 3 months, even camping out over night on wagon trains. She is currently being trained saddleseat & has progressed quickly. She trots & canters well. Above, we are advertising her for Saddleseat Academy; however, she is definitely a great dressage prospect as displayed in two of the photos above. She is shown above ridden by 2 intermediate Academy riders. Though in a few photos her head set is shown more flexed for dressage, she will and can have a very high and ideal saddleseat head set.

This super mare is suitable for a Dressage Prospect, Academy Division Horse Shows, Open English Pleasure or Western Horse Shows, Trail Riding, Endurance Riding, Intermediate Lessons. Although she rides very well Western for trail & pleasure, she will carry her head and bend properly for Dressage, Huntseat, or Saddleseat. She is absolutely competitive for Open Show English Pleasure and a star for Saddleseat Academy classes at any American Saddlebred Horse show. She is big, cute and typey with a very good high ASB head set and capable of folding with a lot of "Motion" both in front and hocks! She is shown below with front keg shoes and barefooted behind. Virginia would also make a very impressive Buggy, Carriage, or Antique Wagon horse. Virginia is broke to line drive and ride, yet I have not as yet driven her to a cart. I strongly feel this mare is a super ideal prospect for Dressage Training and Events.

Must see to appreciate. Guaranteed Sound!

American Saddlebred Aged Chestnut Gelding
Great Lessons & Trail Horse
English Saddleseat ~ Huntseat ~ Western

This gentle saddlebred has been successfully used in our Lesson Program & on Trail Rides for several years. He was a first horse for 8 year old Sibyl Jackson, and he really taught her to ride. Sibyl won awards at the National Academy Championship Finals 2001 - 2003. Sibyl graduated & purchased a show horse 2 yrs ago, but has been unable to part with this precious first horse. Her parents recently put their foot down,...and one horse has to go. Will measure for large pony, but he is big enough for an adult to ride very comfortably. We have ridden this horse regularly Saddleseat, Huntseat & Western. Gets along good with and rides well with other horses. Loads easily. Very gentle, but has plenty of get up and go... he is aged but not a dead head lesson horse. He will continue trotting which is very helpful in teaching a student to post.... and he also canters upon signal. He jumps good. He has been a favorite with many riding students for many years. Sound with no vices.

We have many lesson and trail horses not yet listed. This gelding is a good one. Call (423-710-5747) for more information and details.

Suitable for trail riding, pleasure riding & driving or showing under saddle or in harness, cart, or antique buggy. Stout enough for a big rider and gentle enough for a beginner or intermediate child or adult. Very calm and gentle natured, this gelding is quiet, yet willing to move on when asked. Her dam is a registered 5 gaited saddlebred mare with good motion, a good trot and a fantastic and fast true rack. Her sire is a spotted walking bred racking horse. This filly is just like her dam but with more color. I bought the dam in foal, so do not have thorough information regarding the sire. This filly is broke to lead and has been saddled and ridden one time and did great. She did not buck or do anything foolish. Very pretty and high strung. She has a fast and high motioned trot and is built to rack. Dam is 5 gaited and has a great fast true rack with lots of motion. (see below) Filly moves the same.

American Saddlebred Gelding ~ 5 years old Jan, 2007 ~ This beautifully colored 16 hand gelding is very sweet tempered and gentle to handle and ride. Although he has not had extensive training, he thinks the best, learns very fast, is easy to work with, and has never done anything unkind.

He loves people and children and other horses, and is not aggressive in the field or pasture. He comes to you when called and is fed inside and then turned back out. He is currently, as of Dec 2006, getting a winter coat.

He rides both Western and English...with a single rein or double rein snaffle bit. This horse can be ridden by anyone, but as with all horses will do best if under a horse trainer's or knowledgeable horseman's supervision.Without a trainer, this horse is suitable for an intermediate or beginner adult. With a trainer, this horse is suitable for any rider and would be a very GOOD Lesson Horse, Trail Riding Horse, William Shatner Western Pleasure Horse, Huntseat English Pleasure horse, ASB Country Pleasure Horse or ACADEMY HORSE.

Great Trail Riding Horse

This 3 gaited gelding is good looking with an excellent head set. He has a pretty trot with an excellent slow, smooth canter.
He carries himself beautifully!

He is suitable for a very nice academy horse, ASB 3 gaited pleasure or country pleasure horse, or ASB & Open huntseat. He is gentle enough for lessons and trails. He is not the first lesson horse I put a rider on, but I have used him successfully with confident riders who have only had 6 or so lessons. He is gentle and will work into a 'first lesson' horse with just a little more time and use. He absolutely loves Trail Riding and has been used in our Trail Riding Program with beginner adult riders and beginner-intermediate juvenile riders. I think alot of this horse. He is a rare find, and he has great potential for any ASB riding program.

The more I work with this horse, the more I love him.
Guaranteed sound!

This horse was successfully shown in 8 and under academy classes this year winning one blue and three seconds in his first two shows. This horse has never been out of the ribbons.

update 6/07/06: Although he was being worked toward & shown in the saddleseat ASB classes in the above action shots, he is now flat show and pasture kept and has also been worked & shown four times in Open Huntseat and ASB Huntsean Pleasure with 2 First Place Awards in this division in 2006. This horse has never been out of the ribbons. At home, we have started working him over jumps and he is doing very well.

Although when trained toward it, this horse has a good action and knee bend, but when dropped down & flat shod, he is flat kneed enough for huntseat.

Now that this horse is being offered for sale, I have been using him in my lesson program, and he has become more & more gentle, willing & cooperative with regular use.

He was a first horse for an 8 year old, Alexis Landreth, and taught her to ride well enough to have a first place vote in the National 2005 Academy Finals. Also, Alexis has won or placed no lower than 2nd in 2006, and we all contribut her success to her having learned on this special horse.

He loves people and is easy to catch in the field, and safe for children to work around and learn to groom and care for.

In 2005, Jolene had a good looking dappled champagne foal with four white socks, wide blaze, and flazen mane and tail. This colt was sold in September 2006.
